Allie Reid, M.A., LMHC

Allie received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) providing therapy services as well as behavioral parent training and coaching. Her specialties include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety, Depression, behavioral and emotional regulation concerns, and social skills development. Allie utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other theoretical models, guiding children to learn about themselves and their capabilities.

Allie enjoys working in multidisciplinary settings and values collaborating with other disciplines and schools to ensure cohesive care for her clients. In addition to providing therapy services, she partners with our psychologists throughout the diagnostic process by administering cognitive, executive functioning, and academic assessments. She also co-leads our middle school Social Skills Group that applies executive functioning tools and activities that foster relationship and team building skills.

When she’s not working at ICAN, Allie loves to bake desserts, get involved in house projects/crafts, participate in sporting activities, and spend time with her husband and fur baby, Sadie.
