Sound Signs Part 1 - /d/ and /t/

In the world of speech and language therapy, and in particular, childhood apraxia of speech, there is not a lot of research available to generate the best outcomes. The techniques I am about to show you have not been through rigorous testing. They are strategies that I have found to be effective in my intervention.

Sound Signs are specific cues that I utilize in my therapy to provide multi-modal information for the purpose of learning and improving articulation, phonological and motor planning skills.

I have applied these techniques to children that have challenges with articulation, phonology and motor-planning.

Enjoy!
