Cameron Toughill , M.A., CCC-SLP

Cameron received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Florida.

Cameron has worked in a variety of settings and with diverse populations including adult group homes, public and private schools, and pediatric outpatient clinics. Cameron has been with ICAN since 2014 and loves the multidisciplinary setting that ICAN provides. She believes that children benefit most from a team who works together for the best interest of the whole child.

Helping children develop skills to help connect with their world is what drives Cameron’s passion. She believes in following the child’s lead and a play-based approach to make therapy fun and effective. Cameron’s special clinical interests include early language expansion, play, AAC, and literacy. Cameron also enjoys mentoring new clinicians and students, and supporting the clinical enrichment of the team in her role as Lead Speech-language Pathologist.

When not working, Cameron enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 year-old son Oliver, watching college football, and playing trivia.
